What you would do as our Product Developer FW
You would join a team of skilled developers dedicated to improving and maintaining Aptus-a successful access control, booking, and entry phone system. Aptus is one of the most widely installed brands in the multi-residential market, serving a diverse customer portfolio across Scandinavia. Working alongside our team, you would have the unique advantage of being co-located with our production site, enabling seamless collaboration to continuously enhance existing products and develop new features and solutions. In addition, you would have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with product owners, marketing, production, quality, and customer support teams to deliver outstanding results.
You would also:
• Design and implement innovative solutions for new product development projects.
• Enhance existing products by identifying and addressing challenges with creative problem-solving.
• Develop and apply customizations and solutions to resolve customer issues effectively.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards.
• Continuously refine our products, processes, and methodologies for ongoing improvement.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
• A technical education within Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field. Ideally, you also have experience in Linux system administration.
• Proven industry experience in firmware development for embedded systems, with expertise in C, embedded Linux and Git.
• C++ knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with continuous delivery and integration processes, demonstrating initiative and adaptability to work both independently and within a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a structured and methodical approach to work and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
