Assignment Description

For a client within the defense industry, we are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Manager (SQM)

What You Will Work On

Quality assure purchased components, materials, and subsystems within assigned categories

Ensure implementation of purchasing strategies, policies, and procedures

Define and manage quality requirements within RFQs, contracts, and purchase orders

Participate in and create procurement preparations and supplier quality activities

Perform supplier and product audits onsite at supplier locations

Monitor supplier quality performance and drive corrective actions when targets are not met

Lead supplier improvement programs and quality initiatives

Handle supplier complaints and review supplier corrective action responses

Collaborate closely with internal quality organizations and external suppliers

Analyze quality data and drive continuous improvement activities

Support quality assurance activities related to externally manufactured products

What You Bring

University degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience

Strong knowledge of quality methodologies and quality assurance processes

Experience working with supplier quality and procurement quality activities

Good understanding of quality tools such as:

Root Cause Analysis

Capability Analysis

Risk Analysis

FMEA

8D

Measurement System Analysis

Strong analytical and structured working approach

Ability to collaborate effectively both internally and externally

Experience solving complex quality and supplier-related issues

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
