VX Fiber is looking for a hands-on Pre-Sales Solution Manager to help design and shape the future of our global SaaS platform and telecom solutions.

About the Role

As a Pre-Sales Solution Manager at VX Fiber, you will play a key role in helping customers understand how VX Fiber's products, platform, and services can solve their business and operational challenges.

This is a customer-facing role where you will work closely with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to understand customer pain points, guide technical and commercial discussions, and translate customer needs into clear, practical, and value-driven solutions based on VX Fibers product and related services.

You will be involved early in the sales process, supporting customer meetings, workshops, RFx responses, solution scoping, and handover into delivery. The role requires a good understanding of telecom, L2/L3 networks, OSS/BSS, digital platforms, and network operations, the focus is about connecting customer needs with the right VX Fiber solution.

You'll be part of a cross-functional, international team where collaboration, curiosity, and a practical problem-solving mindset are part of everyday work.

What you'll do

Work closely with Sales in customer meetings, discovery sessions, and pre-sales workshops

Understand customer challenges, business goals, and operational pain points

Translate customer needs into relevant VX Fiber solutions, based on VX Suite, our managed platform, and our service offering

Explain how VX Fiber's products and value proposition can support customer outcomes such as faster rollout, lower operational complexity, improved automation, and scalable network operations

Support RFx processes, including RFI, RFP, and RFQ responses

Prepare solution descriptions, scope, assumptions, and customer-facing material

Create high-level solution proposals together with Product, Delivery, and Technical teams

Help identify gaps between customer requirements and current product capabilities

Support commercial discussions by clarifying solution value, delivery approach, dependencies, and risks

Ensure a smooth handover from pre-sales into delivery once opportunities move forward

Contribute to improving sales tools, templates, demo material, and ways of working within Solution Sales

Bring customer feedback into Product and Delivery teams to help shape future improvements

What you Bring

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

5-10+ years of experience from telecom, preferably within fiber, ISP, wholesale, open access networks, or digital infrastructure and understand the fiber business models and economics behind investment decisions.

Experience from technical pre-sales, solution sales, customer-facing consulting, solution management, or similar roles

Good understanding of OSS/BSS systems such as provisioning, inventory, CRM, billing, orchestration, or service management

Ability to understand customer requirements and turn them into clear solution proposals

Comfortable leading or supporting customer workshops, presentations, and technical discussions

Experience contributing to RFx processes and commercial proposals

Understanding of network operations, access networks, service delivery, and telecom business models is a strong advantage

Understand the fiber business models and economics behind investment decisions.

Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and SaaS platforms is beneficial, but this is not a software development role

Language

Fluent in English (Swedish is a strong advantage).

Additional languages are a plus, especially German given VX Fiber's international operations.

About the employment

Type: Permanent, full-time role.

Location: Hybrid/remote flexibility, but living in Sweden or Germany.

Location office: Stockholm, Umeå or Germany.

Note! You must have the right to work within the European Union / Schengen area
