Mid/ Senior Rendering Engineer

Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for aMid/Senior Rendering Engineerto join the development of a new IP.

Feed your creativity while collaborating with our team of highly-skilled developers to build something innovative, exhilarating, and expansively entertaining!

As a member of the Engine & Tools team, you'll collaborate closely with content teams to advance rendering performance and visual fidelity, developing new technology and building on existing solutions to deliver high-quality AAA visuals.

As a member of the project, you'll help take the studio and our game from great to even better; with a focus on inclusivity, mutual respect (for ourselves and our players), thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism, and collaboration.

You'll help us by...

  • Maintaining, profiling, and optimizing existing rendering systems across PC and console platforms.


  • Collaborating on the development of new rendering solutions for open-world environments.


  • Partnering closely with art teams to deliver visually compelling, high-performing experiences.


You're awesome because you have...

  • Demonstrated industry experience in game development


  • Strong proficiency in C++ and in-depth experience with graphics programming


  • Professional knowledge of GPU and CPU architecture


  • Experience with multithreaded programming


  • Solid experience with at least one low-level graphics API


  • Practical experience with low-level profiling and optimization


  • Familiarity with physically based rendering (PBR)


  • Familiarity with raytracing experience (PBR)


  • Strong communication skills and the ability to take ownership of work


  • A proactive approach to supporting teammates and improving team effectiveness


Bonus points for...

  • Shipped at least one AA or AAA game title


  • Experience working with console graphics stacks


  • Experience sharing knowledge through technical papers, articles, or conference presentations


  • Interest in analyzing and understanding video game systems and player experiences
