About the Role
We are growing our R&D team and are looking for dedicated Mechanical Engineers to join us. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of the mechanical design across our product portfolio. You will work hands-on with product innovation, design improvements, and problem-solving, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards in performance, durability, and compliance.

You will be part of the R&D Hardware team, working cross-functionally and collaborating with colleagues in R&D, production, and product management.

The position can be based in Gothenburg or Björbo and reports to the Manager R&D Hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain mechanical designs for our products.
• Drive mechanical design work within assigned development projects.
• Lead investigation and root-cause analysis for mechanical product deviations and maintenance issues.
• Evaluate existing technology and product functionality, proposing improvements where needed.
• Assess and explore new technologies within the mechanical field.
• Support NPI activities, including first builds and debugging.
• Execute design testing of mechanical components.
• Plan, set up, and carry out mechanical compliance testing.

What We're Looking For
We are looking for both junior and senior engineers with a strong interest in mechanical engineering and a solid technical understanding. Whether you are early in your career or bring several years of experience, you are a proactive team player who takes initiative, enjoys hands-on work, and collaborates effectively both independently and across cross-functional teams . You approach complex challenges with a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset. Your communication skills enable you to contribute clearly in a dynamic environment and support sound technical decision-making.

Key qualifications include:

• MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical design for embedded systems.
• Experience with one or more of the following areas is an advantage:
  
  • Injection molding
  • Chemical regulations
  • LVD
  • Functional safety
  • Sustainability
  • Electronics
  • Mechanical testing, IP ratings, drop testing, etc.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks and Jira is meritorious.
• Fluent in English, Swedish skills are a plus
