About the Opportunity

Apptestify and TestGate.io are expanding their network of freelance software testers across Sweden and Europe. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to test mobile applications, identify bugs, and help improve application quality and user experience.

This is a flexible, remote opportunity suitable for students, working professionals, freelancers, and experienced software testers.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Android and iOS mobile applications on real devices.

• Identify bugs, functional issues, and usability problems.

• Execute assigned test cases and exploratory testing scenarios.

• Record and report bugs with clear descriptions, reproduction steps, screenshots, and screen recordings.

• Test application functionality, navigation, registration, login, payments, and other workflows as required.

• Retest issues after fixes and validate application updates.

• Follow project instructions, deadlines, and confidentiality requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

• Currently residing in Sweden or another European country.

• Access to an Android smartphone and/or an iPhone.

• Basic understanding of mobile applications and their functionality.

• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate in English.

• Knowledge of local languages, such as Swedish, German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, or other European languages, is an advantage depending on project requirements.

• Previous manual testing experience is preferred but not mandatory for all projects.

Compensation

• Hourly compensation, discussed during the interview or onboarding process.

• Rates vary depending on the candidate’s country, experience, technical skills, and project requirements.

• Assignments and working hours depend on project availability and client requirements.
