Are you ready to lead the way towards a fossil-free future by driving innovation in maintenance systems? At Vattenfall, we are taking steps every day to become less dependent on fossil fuels. As our next Manager of Maintenance Systems (Development/Improvement and Support, you will play a key role in transforming how we operate and maintain our wind assets. If you thrive on tackling complex challenges, collaborating across diverse teams, and want your work to have real impact on climate change, this is your opportunity. Join us and help shape smarter solutions that accelerate the energy transition.

What will you do?

In this role, you will be central to driving operational excellence and long-term capability within BA Wind by ensuring our maintenance and supply chain systems deliver value across all business units. You will lead the governance of SAP PM/MM and connected platforms, balancing local needs with harmonised ways of working that support Vattenfall's strategy for fossil freedom. As the primary business counterpart to IT, you will define solution objectives, approve functional designs, and formally accept deliveries-always focused on securing reliable outcomes for both day-to-day operations and future growth.

Your main tasks include:
  • Owning business product responsibility for SAP PM/MM and related systems, ensuring fitness-for-purpose across assets and markets
  • Steering system improvements and implementation initiatives from scoping through go-live, aligning priorities to BA-wide goals rather than isolated site needs
  • Building and developing an international MSIS organisation, fostering engagement, performance, and change leadership across diverse locations
  • Connecting stakeholders such as SCMS, TIM, Finance, Engineering, D1R, IT, and Site/Operations to enable shared accountability in solution delivery
  • Overseeing incident and change management via ticketing systems to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and drive continuous improvement

You will regularly review system performance against KPIs and act on corrective measures where needed. Success means strategic developments of maintenance systems and high-quality systems support delivered consistently-and your team is equipped with the skills needed to sustain improvements. Through mentoring colleagues and sharing knowledge across functions, you help shape a collaborative culture where sustainable ideas are actively exchanged. Your expertise guides senior leadership on investments and trade-offs in our systems portfolio so that our roadmap remains forward-looking-balancing regulatory demands with operational stability.

Location
This is an international role based inKolding, Amsterdam or Solnawith regular travel across our key locations. You will lead a diverse team and shape digital investments that support BA Wind's operational excellence.
Qualifications

You bring a strategic mindset and substantial experience in managing complex business systems within international, multi-site environments. Your background includes a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a closely related discipline. You have deep knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Materials Management (MM), with S/4HANA expertise that enables you to deliver robust solutions across diverse asset types. Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, agile frameworks or SAP PM/MM are a strong advantage and help you steer successful implementation projects end-to-end.

Your ability to lead and develop multicultural teams is matched by your persuasive communication skills; you thrive on building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels. Analytical thinking and problem-solving come naturally to you-especially when balancing local needs with enterprise-wide priorities. Health and safety is always your top concern, underpinning every decision you make.

You get excited when shaping harmonised ways of working that drive operational value across locations. You are at your best connecting stakeholders from SCMS, IT, Finance and Operations to achieve shared accountability. Continuous improvement energises you; you actively mentor colleagues and share sustainable ideas between support and improvement functions.

To succeed in this role, we expect:
  • Professional proficiency in English; Danish, Swedish, German or Dutch is an advantage
  • Proven experience leading system ownership or functional management for SAP PM/MM in large-scale organisations
  • Demonstrated track record managing international teams through change initiatives
  • Strong portfolio management skills with evidence-based prioritisation
