Are you our new Group Legal Director (Corporate & Finance)?
The Group Legal Director (Corporate & Finance) together with the General Counsel will be providing legal advice on all aspects of Intrum Group's legal matters within financing and corporate related matters in the head office function.

The head office is located centrally in Stockholm (Riddargatan 10) but the work is spread geographically across our entire footprint in Europe. The position may involve some travelling.

The Global Legal team consists of ca. forty lawyers, of which eleven work on global matters, located in our headquarters in central Stockholm (Sweden) as well as in Athens (Greece), Dublin (Ireland), Vilnius (Lithuania) and Zug (Switzerland). You will report to the General Counsel.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Debt capital markets related matters, including work with Intrum's listed bonds and its Revolving Credit Facility as well as support the Finance team and the Investing team relating to covenant compliance etc.
• General corporate law and corporate governance to support and meet Intrum's public listing requirements (AGM, MAR-related matters etc.) and other corporate/governance related matters.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating relevant agreements.
• Maintain and develop key corporate legal processes together with relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in relevant corporate/financing projects such as the Annual General Meeting, debt capital issuances or similar and either lead and/or assist in the legal work streams as well as other work streams.
• In addition to the above, the role will include general support to the global legal function in relevant day-to-day matters based on workload within the global function as well as prior experience and interests of the candidate.
• Liaising and managing external law firms, both in the procurement phase as well as during project phase with drafting and negotiations etc. depending on type of project.
• Together with the General Counsel responsible for maintaining and developing relevant global legal instructions and processes to ensure continuous improvements throughout the organization.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Extensive experience in one (but preferably both) of the following areas:

• Debt capital markets and other financing related matters (RCF-type funding and bonds); or
• Corporate law aspects in listed companies

We expect you to be structured, driven, independent and a person able to take initiatives. You are genuinely interested in exploring business activities and you have a solution-focused mind-set. Candidates who only have extensive experience in one of the two fields (corporate at listed companies or debt capital markets) will need to have an interest in actively learning the other field for this to be a success.

Important qualifications are abilities to cooperate and communicate. We want you to be a person with integrity but also easy to work with. You are positive and committed, enjoy providing good service and working in an international and eventful environment.

IT'S A PLUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE EXPERIENCE FROM

• Financial industry in general
• High-yield type financing
• Securitization laws and securitization structuring matters
• For those who only have one of the two "must haves" listed above, some familiarity with the other area
• Cross-border transactions
• Experience with interacting with board members
• General corporate commercial matters, including but not limited to drafting and negotiation of sales or procurement agreements
