Head of IT Infrastructure and Operations

This is what you will do

As Head of IT Infrastructure and Operations, you will lead and develop our Group-wide infrastructure capabilities while collaborating closely with Business IT teams in a federated delivery model. Within Lantmännen, the IT Infrastructure and Operations organization includes Network, Datacenter, IT and Security Operations, Digital workplace, Cloud, Servicedesk and Support, and common platforms such as Integration and Data. The IT Infrastructure and Operations organization consists of approximately 50 employees, whereof 8 direct reports to Head of IT Infrastructure and Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the IT Infrastructure & Operations function, leading through your management team, fostering a high-performance culture characterized by accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Provide strategic oversight of the reliable, secure, and cost-effective delivery of infrastructure services across a diverse business landscape, including production and other business-critical environments.

• Establish and monitor SLAs, KPI’s and Operational metrics to drive accountability and service excellence.

• Establish and maintain enterprise-wide standards, policies, and governance for IT Infrastructure and Operations services.

• Act as a key partner to Business IT managers and senior business stakeholders, driving alignment between Group-wide capabilities and business-specific requirements within a federated IT operating model.

• Manage strategic relationships with Infrastructure and Managed service providers, ensuring vendor performance, contractual compliance, and value realization.

• Own the Infrastructure & Operations budget and investment agenda, balancing service quality, risk and cost optimization to maximize business value.

You have

• An academic degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Extensive leadership experience within IT Infrastructure & Operations environments, with a demonstrated ability to lead through leaders and drive organizational performance.

• A successful track record of managing and developing an I&O function in complex business settings.

• Experience of supporting industrial, manufacturing, supply chain, or other operationally intensive environments where resilience, reliability, and security are critical.

• Broad knowledge of common IT infrastructure domains, including network, workplace services, datacenter, cloud and IT and Security Operations.

• The ability to navigate and lead effectively in federated IT organizations, where influence, collaboration, and governance are key success factors.

• A track record of driving modernization, operational excellence, and organizational transformation while delivering measurable business outcomes.
