Head of Infra Automation

We're looking for a Head of Infra Automation to join us at Telia.

I'm Niklas Ballay , Head of Infra Digital Evolution & Automation , and I'm searching for someone ready to grow with us. We're a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on turning business needs into scalable automation that improves efficiency and value across Telia Infra.

What you'll do

You will lead the Infra Automation team and drive the automation and efficiency agenda from business need to measurable outcome.

• Lead and develop a team of automation specialists, creating clear direction, priorities and an inclusive, high-performing environment.
  

• Drive Telia Infra's automation and efficiency agenda, translating strategic needs into a focused roadmap and scalable solutions.
  

• Own delivery, lifecycle and continuous improvement of automation solutions, with strong attention to security, resilience and business value.
  

• Collaborate with Infra units, product owners, IT, analytics and other stakeholders to identify, prioritize and realize high-value use cases.
  

What will help you thrive in this role

You are a clear and collaborative leader who combines strategic perspective with delivery focus and enjoys building capability through people and technology.

• Proven experience in leading technical teams and delivering automation, digitalization or software solutions in a complex organization.
  

• Strong knowledge of automation technologies, modern software delivery and the governance required for secure, scalable and maintainable solutions.
  

• Ability to turn business priorities into roadmaps, lead change across organizational boundaries and demonstrate measurable outcomes.
  

• Fluency in English and Swedish. The role is based in Gothenburg and includes office presence three days per week.
