We are now looking for a Head of Financial Controlling EMEA to join our Finance Leadership Team. Based in Stockholm and reporting to the Region EMEA CFO, this is a critical leadership role with responsibility for the governance, integrity, and performance of the Region EMEA financial reporting and controlling environment.
As a trusted business partner to the CFO and senior leadership team, you will play a key role in steering the region's financial performance, ensuring the highest standards of accounting, reporting accuracy, internal controls, and compliance. At the same time, you will drive simplification, efficiency, and continuous improvement across finance processes, organization, and ways of working.
A Typical Day at Work:
As Head of Financial Controlling EMEA, you will lead the regional financial controlling agenda, ensuring the integrity and quality of the region's financial results while enabling the business to make informed decisions.
You will own and govern the Region EMEA Financial reporting, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant practices across multiple legal entities, reporting units, and business structures. You will serve as a strategic partner to the Region CFO and Finance Leadership Team, providing insights, challenge, and guidance on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
A significant part of your role will be driving finance transformation and operational excellence. You will lead initiatives to optimize month-end closing, forecasting and reporting processes, strengthen governance frameworks, simplify workflows, and enhance collaboration across regional, global, and shared service organizations.
You will lead a diverse organization comprising Financial Controlling, Principal Company Controlling, Internal Controls, and Corporate Real Estate domains. In addition, you will drive the relationship and service delivery model with Global Finance Shared Services, ensuring seamless end-to-end finance processes and a "One Finance Team" mindset.

Financial Governance & Reporting:
- Govern the Region EMEA AARO consolidated Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across all legal entities and reporting units.
- Safeguard the quality and integrity of monthly, quarterly, annual, forecast, and budget reporting.
- Ensure alignment with IFRS, Group Accounting policies, and relevant statutory requirements.
- Act as the senior finance authority on accounting and reporting matters within the region.
- Drive resolution of complex accounting, reporting, and consolidation issues.
Finance Business Partnership:
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner to the Region EMEA CFO.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business performance and decision-making.
- Lead financial analyses related to business performance, risks, investments, restructuring initiatives, and strategic projects.
- Collaborate closely with Business Controlling, Group Finance, Group Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and regional leadership teams.
Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Lead the Regional Internal Controls function and ensure a strong control environment.
- Ensure compliance with the Electrolux Control System and relevant governance frameworks.
- Drive remediation of control deficiencies and continuous enhancement of risk management practices.
- Coordinate interactions with internal and external auditors and support audit activities throughout the region.
Process Excellence & Finance Transformation:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across financial reporting and controlling processes.
- Drive simplification, standardization, automation, and efficiency improvements across finance operations.
- Optimize closing processes, reporting cycles, reconciliations, governance routines, and finance workflows.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology, digitalization, and shared services capabilities.
- Contribute to the evolution of the regional finance operating model and organization.
Shared Services Leadership:
- Lead the collaboration and Service Level Agreement governance with Global Finance Shared Services.
- Ensure efficient and effective end-to-end delivery of Record-to-Report and related finance processes.
- Drive process ownership, service quality, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability across regional and shared services teams.

Qualifications & Experience:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 12-15 years of progressive finance leadership experience in a multinational environment.
- Strong background across Corporate Finance and Finance Business Partnering roles.
- Experience from both corporate finance and operational/business-facing finance roles.
- Previous experience in a major audit firm is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, consolidation, and internal controls.
- Proven track record of leading large teams and complex international organizations.
- Experience working with shared service organizations and global finance operating models.
- Demonstrated success in finance transformation, process optimization, and organizational change.
- Experience with consolidation and reporting systems, preferably AARO.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with senior executives.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
