Job Description
Hilton Stockholm Slussen is looking for a Groups, Meetings & Events (GM&E) Sales Coordinator to join our Commercial team. This role offers a unique combination of sales, event planning, customer relationship management, and hospitality. No two days are the same, and you will play a key role in creating experiences that bring people together.
Located in the heart of Stockholm with stunning views of the Old Town and Lake Mälaren, Hilton Stockholm Slussen features 289 guest rooms, extensive meeting and event facilities, a restaurant, and a bar. As part of Hilton, you will join one of the world's leading hospitality companies with more than 9,000 hotels across 100+ countries, offering exciting opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a GM&E Sales Coordinator, you will maximise revenue opportunities by managing group reservations, meetings, and events while delivering exceptional customer experiences from enquiry through event completion.
A typical day might include:
• Responding to group, meeting, and event enquiries
• Preparing proposals, contracts, and event documentation
• Managing group bookings and event schedules
• Building strong customer relationships and understanding customer needs
• Conducting hotel show rounds for prospective clients
• Working closely with operational teams to ensure successful event delivery
• Identifying upselling opportunities that enhance the guest experience
• Managing invoicing, payments, and commission administration
• Participating in hotel promotional activities and customer engagement events
• Ensuring every event is coordinated and executed to the highest standard
In this role, success means creating memorable experiences for our guests while driving conversion, revenue, and long-term customer relationships.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual who enjoys working with people, building relationships, and delivering outstanding service.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
• Minimum 1 year of experience within a GM&E department, hotel reservations, sales, events, or a similar commercial role
• A university degree or post-secondary education in hospitality, sales & marketing, business, or a related field
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• The ability to prioritise, follow through, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• A positive, proactive, and collaborative approach
• A natural ability to connect with people and build lasting relationships
• High integrity and a strong sense of ownership

Additional information:
• Full-time position
• Primarily Monday-Friday working hours
• Six-month probationary period
• Covered by the Visita-Unionen collective agreement
