Could you be the full-time Group Manager - Embedded Software in Stockholm OR Västerås we're looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your leading and technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll report to the Manager System and Software and work alongside supportive and motivated teammates.

You'll lead and manage a team of system and software engineers to achieve our goals in embedded electronic platforms development for rail controls. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business, ensure the quality and accuracy of deliverables and much more.

  • Manage capacity and competence planning in close collaboration with the development programs.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.


All about you

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in people management and leading distributed teams.
  • Proven ability to manage teams to achieve project goals.
  • Experience in software development processes such as V model, Agile etc.
  • Strong technical knowledge in operating systems (Linux, RTOS etc.) and embedded software development.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in planning, tracking and delivering projects.
  • Excellent communication skills. English is mandatory, Swedish is preferred.
  • Willing to travel occasionally.


Good to have:
  • Deep knowledge of CENELEC requirements, EN50128/129
  • Knowledge of safety-critical Software development
