Scanjet is now looking for Field Service Manager to join our After sales organisation.
About the role
This role is responsible for leading Scanjet's Service organisation consisting of 20 employees, Field Service Engineers and Service Coordinators, across Europe and Asia. In this role you will report to the CEO, work closely with other managers within Aftersales and other parts of Scanjet as well as interact with Alfa Laval service & AS organisations.
The position is full-time and will be based in either Gothenburg or Sjöbo in Sweden. In this role you can expect to travel approximately 60 days per year.
Key responsibilities
Lead Scanjet's global Service organisation, with overall responsibility for people, performance, budget, and sustainable business growth.
Drive Scanjets cooperation with Alfa Laval's Marine A/S organization in Business Unit MAS and Framo and make sure that best practice is used.
Develop and maintain a professional, customer-focused service network for Tank Management.
Foster a strong customer-centric culture across the Service organisation.
Drive the continuous development of global service operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, regulatory compliance, and high service quality.
Lead the implementation of tools, processes, and ways of working that improve operational effectiveness and customer value.
Lead, coach, and support team members throughout the employee lifecycle, creating an engaging and inclusive work environment.
Oversee service partner agreements, competence development, and service documentation to ensure quality and consistency.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe you have the following required qualifications:
Relevant education or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience leading a service organisation or a company where service is a core business offering.
Strong business acumen and commercial mindset.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different countries, cultures, and regulatory environments.
Solution-oriented, positive, and collaborative, prestige-free attitude.
Proactive, and results-driven with a hands-on approach.
Flexible mindset and ability to adapt and thrive in an international environment.
Professional proficiency in both English and Swedish, with the ability to communicate effectively in an international business environment.
Not a requirement but nice to have:
Experience in a leadership or manager role, with demonstrated responsibility for driving business performance and organizational development
Hands-on experience managing field service operations within a mechanical and/or electrical engineering environment.
