Field based Regional Market Access Manager - Sweden (Almirall)

Do you want to shape market access through value-driven dialogue and influence prescribing decisions across Sweden?
This is an opportunity to combine strong execution, stakeholder engagement, and health-economic messaging in a highly impactful field role.

Location

Sweden-based field role, covering all 21 healthcare regions, with office presence as needed. Almirall's Nordic office is located in Copenhagen.

About the Opportunity

PharmaRelations is partnering with Almirall to recruit a Regional Market Access Manager for Sweden. This is a commercially critical role focused on driving regional access and supporting prescriber decision-making through clear value-based messaging. You will work to secure strong regional and local access for Almirall's dermatology portfolio by supporting favourable positioning in treatment recommendations, improving stakeholder understanding of product value, and driving appropriate uptake across Sweden's 21 healthcare regions.

You will report to the Director Market Access Nordics and work closely with local and Nordic cross-functional teams.

About the Role

Your core responsibility is to translate clinical product value into clear, compelling economic arguments and ensure these are understood and adopted by regional and clinical stakeholders.

Key Focus Areas
  • Deliver strong health-economic and cost-efficiency arguments versus competitors
  • Ensure value messages are clearly communicated at:
    • Regional level
    • Clinic level

Success Criteria
  • Adoption of value-based messaging across regions
  • Increased stakeholder understanding of product economics
  • Clear impact on access and prescribing decisions

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with:
    • Regional payers
    • Läkemedelskommittéer
    • Clinic decision-makers
  • Drive regional access strategies and action plans
  • Secure formulary positioning and product uptake
  • Monitor:
    • Regional funding mechanisms
    • Formulary processes
    • Competitive landscape
  • Support contracting, tenders, and value-based agreements
  • Collaborate closely with Medical, Marketing, and Sales
  • Support key initiatives, including Ebglyss uptake
  • Represent Almirall in external forums (e.g. LIF)

Strategic Impact - Enabling the Commercial Organization

A key part of the role is to strengthen the organization's ability to communicate and apply economic value arguments, particularly in close collaboration with the KAM team.

You will:
  • Integrate KAMs into pricing and health-economic discussions
  • Coach the field force to:
    • Handle value and cost discussions confidently
    • Communicate clearly and effectively

Scope split:
  • 90% regional/local
  • 10% national (TLV-related, mainly handled centrally)

Stakeholder Environment
  • Work with key regional decision-makers and clinical influencers
  • Collaborate closely with the Commercial organization, Medical function -and External partners (for national work). A structured stakeholder mapping will support your work.

Who We Are Looking For

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in regional market access in Sweden
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Healthcare system and regional processes
    • The 21 healthcare regions
  • Strong existing stakeholder network
  • Proven skills in:
    • Stakeholder engagement
    • Negotiation and influencing
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Fluency in Swedish and English

You are:

Preferred Background
  • Relevant academic background
  • Experience in biologics and/or dermatology
  • HEOR experience
  • Understanding of TLV and regional uptake dynamics
  • Knowledge of private healthcare providers
