  • Lead and support work related to chemical management, chemical risk assessments, and ensure compliance with internal requirements and applicable legislation.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve the business's environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001, ensuring that processes and routines are fit for purpose and followed.
  • Drive improvement initiatives in areas such as waste management, resource efficiency, emission reduction, and sustainable production.
  • Train and coach managers and employees in environmental requirements, environmental risks, and sustainable ways of working.

Your Background
  • University education in environmental studies or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience.
  • Experience working with environmental compliance, ISO standards, sustainability, hazardous waste, and chemicals.
  • Experience driving and coordinating processes related to environmental matters.
  • Good understanding of incident management, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to coach, train, and support managers and employees in environmental matters.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

  • Flexible working hours
  • Wellness allowance
  • Excellent career opportunities within Hitachi Energy, both in Sweden and globally
