Job Description

Do you enjoy working with people, leadership, and technology? Are you excited about product development? We're looking for a manager to lead a team responsible for software development in one of Axis' most exciting and fastest-growing product areas.

Who is your future team?

Your future team is the Multichannel Products Feature team, working with UX, world-class firmware features and client software.

What you will do as an Engineering Manager

Your main task will be to lead the team and help the engineers grow in their roles so they can perform at their best. The team currently consists of 17 engineers with varying levels of experience and backgrounds. Developing and recruiting talent will be important responsibilities, as will conducting performance reviews and salary discussions.

The team collaborates closely with other software engineers, and you will be an active part of this collaboration. You are expected to improve our ways of working, participate in technical strategy discussions, and contribute to long-term planning. You will be part of the Multichannel Products management team and report directly to the department director.

Who are you?

You're a natural leader who is passionate about both software development and people. You have previous leadership experience, and you enjoy building and maintaining relationships. You are pragmatic, have a positive drive, and are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
