CGI Business Consulting in Southwestern Sweden is now looking for a Director Business Consulting to lead and expand one of our Strategic IT teams in Gothenburg and Malmö.

Our Business Consulting practice is a strategic growth area within CGI, with a strong focus on Management and Strategic IT Consulting. We actively contribute to national and global offering development and play a key role in shaping CGI's advisory capabilities across markets.

As Director Business Consulting (DBC), you will take on a senior leadership role with full responsibility for business growth, client development, delivery excellence, and team leadership. You will be part of the local Business Consulting leadership team and lead a group of approximately 12 consultants, driving both their professional development and commercial performance.

This is a key position in our continued expansion in Southwestern Sweden, where you will combine strategic leadership with hands-on business development to further strengthen our management consulting presence in the region.

We are seeking a senior leader with a strong consulting background who is energized by building business, developing people, and leading from the front. You bring extensive experience from IT consultancy and are recognized for your ability to create tangible value, build long-term trust with clients, and drive sustainable transformation. Through a confident, coaching leadership style, you engage and inspire experienced consultants to perform at their best.

As part of our Business Consulting leadership team, you will have both the mandate and the platform to influence strategic direction, shape offerings, and contribute to our continued growth.

In this role, you will operate across four interconnected dimensions. You will drive strategic client engagement and business development, cultivating executive-level relationships and identifying new opportunities for growth. You will lead and oversee complex consulting engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable business impact. You will take full responsibility for attracting, developing, and retaining top consulting talent, fostering a high-performing and knowledge-driven team culture. At the same time, you will own the commercial performance of your unit, with clear accountability for revenue growth, profitability, and long-term business development.

A central part of your mission will be to ensure that your team consistently delivers real business value by integrating strategy, technology, and organizational change. Working closely with colleagues across CGI, you will proactively strengthen relationships with both existing and new clients, positioning CGI as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CEOs, and other senior decision-makers.

Kvalifikationer för att bli framgångsrik denna roll
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years as a management consultant.
- Expertise and experience in areas typically handled by CIOs, such as IT strategy, IT operating models, IT cost optimization, IT sourcing, enterprise architecture, technology advisory, data strategy, and ERP strategy.
- Established network of clients in Gothenburg and south Sweden
- Proven experience working with large organizations and delivering strong results in complex environments.
- Strong analytical skills and a quick, effective problem solver.
- High level of drive, self-motivation, and a proactive, business-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
