You will be part of the Data Center Operations (DCO) team, overseeing the operation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure and hardware for data centers in AWS Cloud regions. You will become the primary resolver for your support team, and gain troubleshooting skills on different hardware and software cases. You will be able to troubleshoot and solve most infrastructure issues and engage other appropriate solutions groups on more complex problems to drive solutions.

• Installing/expanding/provisioning AWS infrastructure at the third-party premises, data center, and/or non-traditional environment

• Troubleshooting hardware, network installations & configurations and performing network testing, break/fix, rack installations and/or decommissioning and solving complex problems

• Process and track purchase orders for data center hardware components

* Monitor spare parts inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders

* Maintain accurate records in internal ordering databases

* Execute asset transfers across global locations

* Track order approvals and provide timely updates to stakeholders

* Identify and report shipment issues, including delays, cancellations, and expedited requests

* Manage shipment label distribution for new equipment and returns

* Coordinate with global teams to ensure timely delivery and resolution of issue

• Conduct day-to-day business, both internally and with external customers

• Required travel up to 25% on average. You will be required to travel between locations to install, service, and retrieve AWS equipment.

• Physical ability to push and/or pull heavy objects into position (regularly lift up to 18kg and participate in team lifts of 30 kg)

• May lead or participate in efforts to develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and tools that improve operational efficiencies

• May lead larger projects that require cross-functional alignment and support, including large-DC installations, global-reaching business initiatives, and/or development of mechanisms to support growth to ensure compliance with global group standards.

• May be required to work at height to maintain AWS infrastructure equipment while adhering to AWS health & safety guidelines.

• Most of all, you will have a passion for technology along with a desire to be the best at your job every day!
