Beskrivning

Studies show that women and underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply unless they meet every requirement. At Stegra, we're building an impact-driven, sustainable company - and we need a diverse, inclusive team to make it happen.

If you share our passion but don't meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway. You might be the perfect fit for this role, or another as we grow.

At Stegra, we're not just building a plant, we're proving that sustainable industry is possible. And to do that, we need people like you.

Join a team where safety comes first. Where we support each other, learn as we go, and make space for everyone to grow and contribute. This is your chance to be part of something big - while being closer to nature and leading a balanced, purposeful life.

What you'll do

Right now, we are looking for an Daytime Manager to join our Green Iron Production team.

In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team working with electrical, instrumentation and automation systems. You will plan and coordinate day-to-day operational and maintenance activities, ensuring work is carried out safely and effectively while supporting reliable plant operations.

This is a hands-on people leadership role where you will combine team leadership with your technical experience and work closely with Operations, Maintenance and other teams across Green Iron.

Specific to this role, the day-to-day tasks will include the following but as we are a growing company with very little silos between teams, other tasks might be included as well.
  • Lead and develop a team of technicians and operators, creating a safe, inclusive and supportive working environment.
  • Plan and allocate work, staffing and resources based on operational and maintenance priorities.
  • Ensure the team follows safety, quality and operational standards, and address issues when they arise.
  • Coordinate electrical, instrumentation and automation maintenance to support equipment reliability and availability.
  • Lead and support the team during troubleshooting, plant start-ups, shutdowns and stoppages.
  • Coordinate maintenance and overhauls with Shift Managers and Operations to minimise disruption to production.
  • Follow up team and equipment performance and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
  • Ensure technical documentation, including P&IDs, electrical drawings and manuals, is accurate and up to date.
  • Lead improvement activities within the area and encourage the team to identify better ways of working.
  • Develop team capability through regular feedback, coaching, knowledge sharing and training.
What you'll bring

You're curious and believe that real progress happens when we work together. You're not afraid to challenge old ways of thinking - and you treat others with respect while doing it. At Stegra, we value people who take initiative, build trust, and help create a workplace where everyone can do their best.

Specific to this role, we would like to see that you can tick off a fair amount of the boxes below
  • Degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering, instrumentation, electrical and electronics, control engineering or a related field.
  • Solid experience in electrical, instrumentation and automation systems within an industrial or process environment.
  • Experience with MV and LV switchgear, instrumentation, control valves, maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Experience leading people and coordinating work in an operational environment.
  • Good understanding of industrial safety requirements, regulations and standards.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work, solve problems and make sound decisions together with your team.
  • Good communication skills in English. Swedish is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Experience with MIDREX gas-based direct reduction technology and ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001 is an advantage.

Benefits at Stegra

At Stegra, you'll join a company where your work has real impact on the climate, the industry, and future generations. We're building a culture rooted in safety, trust, and inclusion, where people feel supported to grow and thrive.

You'll receive fair, competitive compensation aligned with collective agreements, along with benefits like up to 30 days of paid vacation, occupational pension, parental benefits, and insurance. If you need support with relocation or immigration, our relocation department will help guide you through the process, whether it's permits, housing or other practical matters. You can also enjoy perks like subsidized gym memberships and bike leases, plus the everyday benefits of life closer to nature.
