Abot the role

We are looking for a CstomsCompliance Manager to strengthen or cstoms governance and ensre fllcompliance across AAK's operations in Karlshamn. In this key role, yo willensre correct permits, accrate prodct classification, contry of origin determination,and adherence to cstoms legislation and internal controls. Yo will workclosely with internal teams and external partners to safegard compliant,efficient, and cost-effective cstoms processes. This incldes leading adits,ensring docmentation accracy, monitoring reglatory changes, and drivingcontinos improvement initiatives throghot the cstoms and trade compliancefnction. This role is integral to spporting the sites operationalperformance, risk management, and ability to deliver reliable and compliantflows across the spply chain. This position will initially spport the Karlshamn site with thepossibility to extend to additional Eropean sites at a later stage.

Responsibilities

Cstoms Compliance& Governance

Ensre all reqired permits are in place and maintained to spport efficient and cost-effective operations.

Secre correct HS classification, contry-of-origin determination, and ensre accrate docmentation.

Ensre AAK's cstoms procedres remain compliant with legislation, internal standards and reqirements.

Monitor reglatory changes and drive pdates to policies, processes, and systems to ensre ongoing compliance and efficiency.

Handle deviations by investigating isses, defining corrective actions, implementing improvements, and following p on otcomes.

Collaborate closely with internal partners, inclding Procrement, Sorcing & Trading, Spply Chain, Finance, Sales, TPM, Order Management, Planning, and Prodction Qality and external stakeholders sch as cstoms brokers, forwarders, sppliers, and external warehoses to ensre smooth, compliant, and efficient cstoms operations.

Adits, Controls &Docmentation

Lead internal self-inspections and spport external cstoms adits.

Maintain accrate cstoms docmentation and manage archiving throgh Emma Systems.

Ensre records for classification, origin, permits, and cstoms controls are accrate and adit ready.

Review cstoms processes reglarly to identify risks, gaps, or opportnities for improvement.

Training, Commnication &Stakeholder Spport

Act as AAK's internal sbject-matter expert on cstoms matters.

Provide training and gidance to internal stakeholders on cstoms processes, docmentation, and reglatory reqirements.

Commnicate proactively with cstoms athorities, cstoms brokers, and logistics partners.

Coordinate with other AAK sites to ensre alignment of cstoms standards, practices, and docmentation.

Process Improvement &Efficiency

Drive enhancements to cstoms workflows, reporting accracy, and operational efficiency.
Strengthening systems and tools sed in cstoms and docmentation processes.

Define cstoms reqirements within spplier agreements and monitor compliance throghot the contract lifecycle.

Lead and spport continos improvement initiatives across cstoms and trade compliance.

Abot yo

7+ years of experience in cstoms compliance, international trade, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of cstoms reglations, inclding HS codes, origin rles, inward processing, and related legislation.

Experience ensring accracy and completeness of cstoms docmentation and compliance records.

Strong commnication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across fnctions and with external partners.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage mltiple priorities nder tight deadlines.

Proven ability to lead compliance processes, implement controls, and drive improvements.

Flent in Swedish and English.
