About the role
SEB is on an exciting transformation journey. We have brought the full Consultant Management function in-house and now govern the end-to-end Time & Material consultant process across the bank - from Tech and IT to Finance, Legal, Customer Service and Healthcare. As part of our people-first approach, ownership of the process has moved from Procurement to HR, reinforcing our focus on talent excellence, agility and long-term capability.

As our Consultant Sourcing Specialist, you will be at the centre of SEB's consultant ecosystem, working closely with internal stakeholders and our network of consultant vendors. You will manage sourcing assignments from start to finish and help ensure that the bank accesses the right expertise at the right time and on the right terms.

You will join a small, collaborative team in a dynamic function with broad exposure across SEB. The role gives you the opportunity to build a strong internal and external network while contributing to the continued development of our consultant management model.

In this role, you will:

• Own and drive consultant sourcing processes from initial need to completed assignment
• Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and identify relevant expertise
• Lead vendor dialogues and commercial negotiations
• Ensure compliance with established processes, policies and governance
• Administer and act as a super user in our Vendor Management System (VMS)

Who we are looking for

With a commercial mindset and a focus on value, you are motivated by delivering results and improving how things are done.

We also believe you have:

• Hands-on experience working with the consultant sourcing process, including identifying, engaging and managing external consultants throughout the end-to-end lifecycle
  
• A solid understanding of the IT consultant market, including technology roles, skills and market dynamics
  
• Experience managing supplier relationships and driving commercial discussions and negotiations
  
• Experience from procurement and/or talent acquisition is considered an advantage, but does not replace the requirement for consultant sourcing experience
  
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions
  
• Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
