We are looking for a curious, brave, and commercially driven leader with a strong passion for business development and the IKEA business. You have a genuine interest in understanding the bigger picture, connecting different parts of the value chain and turning customer, market and business insights into opportunities for growth. You thrive in a complex and fast-moving environment and are motivated by creating strong business performance today while building the capabilities and opportunities for tomorrow. You are ready to lead, develop and challenge the Home Furnishing Accessories (HFA) organization, including recruitment, competence development and succession planning, while creating a culture where business and people grow together.

As Business Manager HFA, you will report to the Range Commercial manager and play a key role in shaping the future of the Home Furnishing Accessories business. You will lead the business end to end, working closely with stakeholders across Range, Supply and Retail to create the right conditions for a relevant, competitive and successful HFA offer.

As Business Manager HFA, you are responsible for:

Owning business performance and follow-up, identifying gaps and securing actions to drive sales, quantity growth, profitability, customer value and low-cost development, while making trade-offs from a total business perspective and balancing short-term performance with long-term Range, business and innovation development.

Securing a relevant, competitive and attractive HFA offer by connecting customer, market and business insights with strategic Range and business development.

Leading and steering the HFA business agenda through the IKEA operating model, securing the right decisions, resources and preconditions for successful implementation, building alignment and creating impact across the organisation.

Contributing actively to the functional manager network by bringing business context, insights and perspectives, and by proactively sharing expertise and creating alignment across the wider IKEA organisation.

To be successful in this role you have:
    • Proven experience of leading and developing a complex business with end-to-end responsibility, delivering strong business performance over time, preferably in an international and matrix setup
    • A strong experience in strategic business, commercial and range development with the ability to move between tactical and operational perspectives while keeping the end-to-end and long-term connection.
    • A strong commercial and financial understanding, with the ability to analyze business performance, make fact-based decisions and set priorities and trade-offs that drive sales, quantity growth, profitability and low cost.
    • Proven experience working across the value chain, creating alignment between Range, Supply, Retail and other key stakeholders through strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
    • Motivation to lead through IKEA culture and values and by developing people and business, creating a strong performance here and now and over time through clear direction, collaboration, competence development and succession.
