About the role

Supply & Refining is responsible for sourcing raw materials, refining and optimizing these flows, and managing sales both to external customers and to our business area Commercial. As Business Controller Trading, you will primarily support the Trading and Physical Management functions, contributing with financial planning, performance management, analysis, and target follow-up.

You will play an active role in developing and improving business performance processes in a complex but highly engaging environment undergoing transformation. The role offers a high degree of autonomy, where you are expected to independently structure your work, build relevant stakeholder relationships, and gather the information needed to deliver high-quality insights.

You will be part of a team of seven professionals and report to the Head of Controlling Supply & Refining.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, performance tracking, analysis, closing activities, and reporting for Supply & Refining.
  
• Actively contribute to the section management team from a controlling perspective.
  
• Drive continuous improvement and development of business performance management within Supply & Refining.
  
• Coordinate and contribute to financial forecasting, business planning, and strategic planning processes.
  
• Stay up to date within your field, actively participate in controlling processes, and contribute to continuous improvements.
  
• Act as a trusted advisor on financial matters to stakeholders across Supply & Refining.

Requirements

• Academic degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in controlling or a similar role, preferably in a complex or process-driven environment.
  
• Advanced skills in Excel and solid knowledge of the Office suite.
  
• Experience working with ERP and BI systems (e.g. M3, OneStream is meriting).
  
• Experience from trading environments (e.g. commodities such as oil, gas, or similar) is considered an advantage.
  
• Strong communication skills and fluency in both Swedish and English .
