*Job Description:**

The Expert API/Microservice Architect will be an engineer/software developer focused on designing and implementing workbenches and guidelines for Microservice development, primarily using Spring Boot and Kubernetes. This role involves advising on application architecture and aligning it with business objectives and technology direction.

* **Roles and Responsibilities:**

* Design and develop microservices using Spring Boot and deploy them on Kubernetes.

* Create workbenches, templates, and guidelines for microservice development.

* Advise on API design and microservice architecture best practices.

* Ensure solutions meet functional, non-functional (performance, scalability, security) requirements.

* Collaborate with development teams, other architects, and stakeholders.

* Maintain architectural artifacts related to API and microservice solutions.

* Stay updated with emerging trends in microservices, API development, and cloud-native technologies.

* **Years of Experience:**7-10+ years

* **Primary Skillset:** Microservice architecture, Spring Boot, Java, Kubernetes, Docker, API design (REST, OpenAPI).

* **Secondary Skillset:** API Gateway technologies, Service Mesh (e.g., Istio), CI/CD for microservices, Cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

* **Must-have Skills:**

* Extensive experience in designing and developing microservices with Spring Boot.

* Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

* Proficiency in API design principles and RESTful services.

* Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts.

* **Good-to-have Skills:**

* Experience with API security standards (OAuth2, OpenID Connect).

* Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka).

* Experience with service discovery, circuit breakers, and other microservice patterns.
