Accountant to fashion company - 50%

Are you a structured and detail-oriented finance professional looking for a broad accounting role? In this position, you will combine hands-on operational bookkeeping with general ledger maintenance and month-end closing activities in a collaborative environment.

About the position
Perido is looking for an Accountant for our client, an established fashion house recognized for its progressive design and modern tailoring. The company builds long-term values around design and sustainability, offering iconic collections. The position is based at our client's headquarters in Stockholm.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle supplier invoice processing, accounting, and timely payments
• Manage customer accounts receivable and oversee the end-to-end order-to-cash process
• Review, verify, and post employee expense reports
• Register and reconcile incoming customer payments alongside regular bank reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger integrity and record manual journal entries
• Prepare monthly closing routines, including comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist the finance team with ad-hoc administrative and financial tasks as needed

You communicate clearly and effectively, and you are skilled at building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role
• Experience from the retail industry
• Solid knowledge of AP, AR, GL accounting, month-end close processes, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Fluent in English, spoken and written

Meritorius:

• Experience working in a small or medium-sized organization
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Contract type and hours
Half time at 50%, consulting assignment for 6 months. Start ASAP.
