Techarenan is one of the Nordic region's leading platforms for entrepreneurs, growth companies and innovators. We run several yearly international events in the region, including Techarenan Challenge, our startup competition that every year puts the most promising Nordic companies on an international stage. From our headquarters in Arenastaden, Solna, we work across the Nordics, Europe and beyond.
We are now looking for a VP Global Partnerships to take ownership of our global partner relationships, both deepening the ones we already have and building new ones with international sponsors, platforms, embassies, investors, funds and innovation hubs across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America.
This is a strategic role reporting into the leadership team. You will lead Techarenan's international expansion, working closely with our CEO, our Head of International Relations and Collaborations, and our CCO, and you will be one of the key people taking Techarenan further on the international stage.
What you will do
Set the strategy for Techarenan's global partner portfolio and drive it in practice. Identify, approach and close deals with larger international partners, corporations, embassies, industry bodies, funds and accelerator programmes. Negotiate and own commercial agreements from first conversation to signature. Build and nurture long-term relationships at executive level. Represent Techarenan at events and conferences around the world. Work closely with our content, sales, marketing and product teams so that partnerships deliver real value for everyone involved.
Who we think you are
You have several years of experience building international partnerships, senior-level B2B sales or business development, ideally within media, events, finance or tech. You are a skilled negotiator, comfortable closing larger deals. You bring an established international network; experience and contacts across the Middle East, Asia or North America are a strong plus but not a requirement. You are fluent in English, written and spoken; Swedish or other languages are a bonus. You are at home in a fast-moving environment where you set much of the agenda yourself and where there isn't always a ready-made playbook. You combine commercial drive with humility and curiosity, and you genuinely enjoy building relationships.
Practical
Employment type: Permanent, full-time. Start date: September 2026. Location: Our head office at Pyramidvägen 7, Arenastaden, 169 56 Solna, Sweden. The role is based at our Solna office, with travel as part of the job. Compensation: Competitive and market-based, discussed based on experience.
