Industrifonden is looking for a highly motivated Intern to join our Life Science investment team.

The role
As an Intern in our life science investment team, you will work side-by-side with our investment professionals and gain hands-on exposure to the full venture capital process. You will focus on areas such as biotech, medtech, diagnostics, healthtech and scientific tools.
Responsibilities include:
- Screening and evaluating new investment opportunities
- Technology, market and competitive landscape analysis
- Supporting due diligence and investment decision-making
- Contributing to internal research and intelligence initiatives
- Interacting with portfolio companies and founders
Who you are
- Last year MSc (or recent graduate) in chemistry, biotechnology, medicine, bioengineering or a related discipline
- Strong scientific curiosity and analytical mindset
- Interest in start-ups, venture capital and early-stage innovation. Preferably experience from start-ups and/or venture capital
- Excellent communication skills in English and preferably also Swedish
Practical details
- Full or part-time (75-100%), paid internship. Possible to combine with studies
- Location: Stockholm (on-site), you are expected to be in the office 3-5 days a week
- Duration: Aug - January, ca 6 months
- Start date: August
