Manager to our Software Asset Management team to help us build transparency, drive
compliance and ensure that our software assets support both our business needs and
our sustainability ambitions.
The Role:
Sweco is looking to grow our Software Asset Management team by hiring a team
manager and expanding the team's scope. We want an enthusiastic leader who can
develop the team, update governance policies and procedures, and deliver strong
commercial results working with our software and hardware providers.
You will lead a team of specialist and work closely with colleagues in Sweco IT, finance,
legal, privacy, and business stakeholders to ensure openness, compliance, and value
from supplier relationships and contracts.
Your main responsibilities:
• Lead and develop the team, improving work methods and processes
• Coordinate with IT units and key stakeholders to define scope and
priorities
• Manage contract lifecycles, renewals, compliance, and risk
• Enhance data quality, contract systems, and financial reporting
• Drive major negotiations and support strategic sourcing initiatives
• Support in Due Diligence and Integration projects in the Sweco M&A
process
• Continue to develop and apply AI in procurement and contract
management
• Deliver actionable reports and present decision memos to senior
leadership
Qualifications:
• Experienced in IT procurement, vendor and contract management
• Skilled in licensing, SaaS, cloud services, and software acquisition
• Strong negotiation, contract, and commercial expertise
• Proficient in financial analysis, TCO, forecasting, and reporting
• Process improvement and data quality enhancement experience
• Collaborative with legal, finance, security, architecture, and executive
teams
• Proven leadership experience, preferably within IT or Asset Management
• Interested in responsible AI and automation within business processes
