We are now looking for a licensed teacher in wood and metalwork for grades 4-9.About the service (Now - December)

As a teacher of wood and metalwork at IES Kista, you will:

- Teaching wood and metal crafts for students in grades 4-9 in accordance with the Swedish curriculum (Lgr22).

- Be knowledgeable and passionate about your subject and inspire students in both technical skill and design.

- To be a confident leader in the craft room with a focus on safety and a calm study environment.

- Plan, implement and assess engaging lessons that combine theory with practical craftsmanship.

- Adapt and differentiate your teaching to challenge and support students at different levels.

- Collaborate with colleagues in the aesthetic subject area to create an inspiring learning environment.

- Contribute to the school's positive and international atmosphere.

- As a mentor for 16 students, supporting them to reach their full potential, regardless of background.Qualifications

- Teaching degree and certification in crafts with a focus on wood and metal for grades 4-9.

- Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English.

- Experience of teaching in an international or bilingual environment is an asset.

- A structured, safety-conscious and professional approach to teaching and teamwork.Application
