System Test Team Lead

As System Test Team Lead, you'll help ensure new features and system behaviour meet the standards expected by customers, while contributing to the quality of a solution that connects software with real-world security hardware.

The role

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead an experienced team while staying close to the technology yourself. You'll set priorities, support and develop the team, and spend part of your time running system and functional tests across the ARX solution.

You'll also influence how testing evolves, working closely with developers and other stakeholders to improve QA practices, automation and ways of working.

What you'll work on

• Lead and mentor a team of testers, planning and distributing testing activities
• Plan, prioritise and execute system and functional testing for new features and system behaviour
• Run manual and automated tests across software and hardware-based test environments, system that consists of a Client/Server, Distributed Control Units, Readers, and Motor-locks
• Improve test automation, processes and methodologies using Python, Selenium and Robot Framework
• Troubleshoot issues and defects, working closely with developers and other stakeholders
• Perform functional, performance, stress and reliability testing across the complete system

What will help you succeed

• Proven experience leading a test team, combined with solid experience in system and software testing
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, ideally with Python, Selenium and Robot Framework
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with your team, developers and other stakeholders
• A structured, analytical and proactive approach, with the curiosity to learn a complex product and the initiative to improve how things are done
• Fluent English and the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have: Experience with hardware-based test environments, Java, Embedded C, access control or security products, experience using AI tools to support test development and automation, and Swedish language skills.
