About this opportunity:
We are looking for a System Simulation Engineer to join our team and help drive innovation in AI-enabled network simulations, automation, and Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC).
Over the past year, both the scope and complexity of our work have grown significantly. We are leading several initiatives in AI-driven simulation, automation of simulation workflows, and the development of future simulation capabilities for ISAC. These strategically important areas require a combination of strong system understanding and expertise in modelling, simulation, AI, and automation.
Our team is currently managing multiple parallel simulation activities and a growing project portfolio. To continue delivering on key commitments, drive innovation, and build long-term competence in these emerging technology areas, we are looking to strengthen the team with an additional System Simulation Engineer.
What you will do:
- Develop and automate network simulations using AI and machine learning techniques.
- Improve simulation and analysis workflows through AI-based solutions to increase productivity, efficiency, and quality.
- Drive and execute simulation activities related to ISAC, including system evaluation and performance analysis.
- Design, develop, and implement simulation models to enable advanced analysis and technology exploration.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to accelerate technology development and product innovation.
- Support ongoing projects and future strategic initiatives within network simulation, with a focus on automation and efficiency improvements.
The skills you bring:
- BSc or MSc in Physics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience in programming with Python.
- Knowledge of software development practices and version control using Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in AI, automation, data analysis, and wireless communication systems.
- Familiarity with simulation, modelling, or performance analysis methodologies.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a continuous learning mindset.
- Experience with AI, Machine Learning, LLMs, or Agentic AI.
- Experience with physics-based modelling and simulation.
- Knowledge of telecommunications, wireless communication systems, and radio networks.
- Experience in automation of workflows, data processing, and analytics.
- Familiarity with Linux development environments.
- Software development and scripting experience beyond Python.
- Understanding of Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) concepts or related research areas.
