Who you are
This role is to join Customer Rewards as a Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack). Customer Rewards is a product at the heart of IKEA Family.
Our product provides Ingka Retail Platform capabilities for managing Reward Programmes and enabling digital experiences to integrate Customer Rewards in their solutions. Customer Rewards serves as a reliable way for our 100M+ IKEA Family members to access and use their rewards.
Day to Day:
Help bring the Global Points Programme to all of our markets Design, develop and operate our systems with Domain-driven Design, and Event-driven Architecture patterns. Develop secure, tested solutions in JavaScript/TypeScript with our technology stack that includes, Git, Web Components, VueJS, NodeJS, SQL. Deploy our cloud native solutions, provisioned with Docker, Cloud Build and Terraform to Google Cloud Platform. Maintain and improve our Software Engineering standards and baselines. Develop your craft and leadership in our goal to be best-in-class engineers with excellent engineering practices. Make impactful contributions to Customer Rewards as a key Ingka Retail Platform capability. Work closely with the Software Engineering leadership to mentor and grow other best-in-class engineers Work collaboratively and with leadership across the IKEA Family Product Area

Familiar with more than one are of the engineering stack - infra, backend and frontend Have a high standard for crafting tested quality code in JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL and Cloud infra. Work collaboratively with other disciplines, including architecture, product, experience design, data specialists and domain experts. Make changes in a compliant and efficient way through integration and deployment pipelines. See the value in variant testing and are able to implement meaningful experiments as a way of solving the right problems. See value in system design and modelling as an important part of Software Engineering Communicate clearly and effectively in written and oral form so you can share knowledge, experiences and collaborate well. Have continuous delivery as an essential part of the way to practice continuous discovery Continuously learning and see mentorship and coaching as a core part of your growth.
