Job Description
Our client is looking for a highly experienced Mechanical Engineering Specialist with expertise in robotics, mechatronics, machinery, and production technology. The assignment involves leading testing activities with a strong emphasis on test automation and structured test methodologies within a technical laboratory environment.
The ideal consultant should possess strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities, practical laboratory experience, and the ability to work with advanced measurement instruments and electro-mechanical systems. This role requires a hands-on engineering professional who is comfortable working onsite and collaborating within technical development and testing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate testing activities with a focus on automated testing processes and test methodology development.
Perform validation, analysis, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electro-mechanical components and systems.
Work extensively in laboratory environments using various measurement tools and technical instruments.
Interpret and review technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation to support testing and product evaluation activities.
Contribute to product and component development activities within robotics, mechatronics, and machinery-related projects.
Identify technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend effective engineering solutions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing procedures, product quality, and engineering performance.
Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation in English and Swedish when required.
Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives and testing standards are achieved.
Required Experience
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, machinery, mechatronics, robotics, or production technology.
Proven experience working as a Test Lead with expertise in test automation and structured testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience in laboratory and testing environments.
Strong background in handling measurement tools and engineering instruments.
Experience working with electro-mechanical systems and components.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and engineering documentation.
Strong computer and technical system proficiency.
