We are looking for a Senior IT Security Consultant to join us at Telia Cygate .

What you'll do:
As an IT Security Consultant with us, you will work closely with your colleagues in a wide range of client projects. You'll be involved in everything from hands-on implementation projects-where you dive deep into installation, design, migration, configuration, and troubleshooting of cutting-edge security solutions-to taking on a more advisory role, guiding customers through today's complex security landscape.
Our clients trust us to secure their IT environments . We don't just help them run and maintain their systems - we also support them in planning ahead and future-proofing their solutions.
With us, you won't work in a silo. Our projects often span multiple service areas, meaning you'll collaborate with experts in networking, security, and Hybrid IT. This gives you the opportunity to build both deep technical expertise and broad competence , covering everything from network and security operations to cloud, automation, virtualization, and data centers.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about solving customer challenges and enjoys engaging with both technical specialists and decision-makers, presenting solutions in a clear and inspiring way.
You're comfortable in an advisory role and motivated by helping customers find the right solutions for their needs. You have solid experience working with security solutions, with a focus on one or more product areas.

- Experience working with solutions from Checkpoint, Fortinet, Infoblox, and F5 .
- Strong background in IT security and networking , with a focus on firewalls, DNS/DHCP, and load balancing .
- Deep technical understanding of network protocols and infrastructure services .
- Comfortable working in complex environments with high requirements for security, availability, and performance .
- Experience with design, implementation, and troubleshooting of security solutions in both on-premises and hybrid cloud environments .
- Swedish native speaker and fluency in English, both spoken and written .
