Senior Frontend Developer 💻

About the role Wrknest is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer on behalf of a global technology company with an established presence in Stockholm. The company develops advanced hardware and software solutions that make it easier for organizations to manage connected devices, networks and physical environments.

In this role, you will join a product-focused development team working on modern, highly interactive web applications. Your focus will be on creating responsive and intuitive user experiences using React and TypeScript, while also contributing to frontend architecture, code quality and technical decisions.

The role combines hands-on development with close collaboration across engineering, product and design. You will work with everything from reusable UI components and complex visualizations to AI-assisted development workflows, giving you the opportunity to influence both the product and how the team builds it.

Your future responsibilities

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will take an active role throughout the development process. You will build new functionality, improve existing interfaces and help ensure that the frontend remains scalable, maintainable and performant as the product evolves.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and maintaining modular and reusable React components

Building responsive and intuitive user interfaces

Collaborating with designers and product managers to improve UI and UX and shape new user flows

Developing scalable visualization components for device relationships, floorplans and system topologies

Writing and maintaining tests to ensure quality and reliability

Contributing to frontend architecture and participating in design and code reviews

Working with AI-assisted development workflows, including reusable AI skills, agent definitions and specifications

Reviewing and validating AI-generated code to ensure correctness and maintainability

Continuously improving frontend performance, responsiveness and development practices

About you

To succeed in this role, you have solid professional experience in frontend development and are comfortable taking ownership of technically complex features.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of professional experience in frontend development or a similar role

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript

Extensive experience working with React

Strong understanding of programming principles, design patterns, modern web protocols and web security

Experience analysing and troubleshooting technical issues

A strong understanding of clean code, frontend performance and optimization

Experience integrating AI-assisted workflows into frontend development, such as code review, test generation or automation

Experience creating and maintaining executable specifications or living documentation alongside evolving code

Familiarity with Model Context Protocol, MCP, and connecting AI tooling with internal systems

Experience using AI-assisted code review as part of a development workflow

Nice to have:

Experience with Node.js, other programming languages or full-stack development

Experience with Redux, React-Redux or redux-saga

Experience with styled-components or similar styling solutions

Experience with Jest or other frontend testing frameworks

Experience working with multimedia such as video, audio or image optimization

Experience developing interfaces for networking, mobile or IoT products

Experience with visualization libraries for topology maps, hierarchical graphs or interactive layouts

Experience implementing interactive UI functionality such as zooming, panning, snapping or node-link editing

You enjoy solving complex technical problems and care about the details that make an interface both intuitive and reliable. You are comfortable discussing technical decisions with others, reviewing different approaches and taking responsibility for the quality of what reaches the end user.

Location: Central Stockholm, with a hybrid working model
