Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React, JavaScript and TypeScript to join our development team.
Your primary focus will be frontend development, working closely with the Lead Developer as a core part of the delivery team. You will contribute to the frontend architecture and development while working across frontend/backend interfaces and API integrations. Experience with UI and API test automation would also be valuable.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets and external systems.
Ensure applications meet requirements for security, scalability and performance.
Deploy, operate and maintain applications within a cloud environment.
Contribute to frontend architecture and design discussions.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring within the team.
Collaborate with backend developers and other team members to ensure effective integration across the technology stack.
Contribute to UI/API testing and test automation where required.
Required
Minimum 7 years of total IT-related experience, with proven professional frontend development experience.
Expert-level experience with React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
Strong understanding of frontend architecture and the integration between frontend and backend systems.
Experience integrating REST APIs and/or GraphQL.
Familiarity with state management technologies such as Redux.
Experience working within modern software development and delivery environments.
Highly valued experience includes:
DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
UI test automation using Cypress, Playwright or similar tools.
Experience developing or maintaining map-based applications/tools.
MongoDB, Docker and Git.
Using AI-assisted development tools such as AWS Kiro.
Efficiency and cost engineering.
Jira and Confluence.
Facilitation and collaboration tools such as Mural, Miro and FigJam.
