Höganäs AB is looking for a Senior Communications Manager to take a key role in developing and strengthening communication within their global Group functions, with a primary focus on HR and Sustainability.
The role as Senior Communications Manager
This is primarily an internal communication role, where you will drive clarity, engagement, and alignment across your areas of responsibility. Working closely with the business, you will act as a communication business partner to senior stakeholders, particularly within HR and Sustainability, supporting leaders in communicating effectively in a decentralized, international environment.
You will take ownership of communication within your scope, including employee engagement and change communication, and contribute to building a high-performing organization and a strong company culture.
The role is focused on Group functions, while also contributing to communication efforts in our business divisions when relevant. In addition, you will support selected external communication within sustainability and employer branding.

The assignment is based at Höganäs AB's headquarters in Höganäs, and work is carried out on-site at least 3 days per week.

The role as Senior Communications Manager

In this role, you will:
- Drive and develop internal communication and employee engagement activities.
- Support and develop communication linked to HR priorities, such as culture, leadership, and employee experience.
- Lead and structure change communication to create clarity and momentum in key initiatives.
- Lead communication related to Sustainability, including internal communication and selected external positioning.
- Manage and coordinate the production of the annual Sustainability Report.
- Act as a strategic and hands-on communication business partner to stakeholders within your areas of responsibility.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and proactively identify communication needs and opportunities.
- Support leadership communication and key internal messaging when relevant.
- Translate complex topics into clear, engaging, and relevant communication.
- Plan, produce, and publish content across relevant channels.
- Contribute to continuously improving how we communicate and work together.
Your experience and education
- You have a minimum 10 years of experience in senior or global communications roles within an international organization or similar environment
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swedish
- Ability to combine strategic perspective with hands-on execution
- Strong experience in internal and leadership communication, including supporting senior stakeholders
- Proven experience in issue and crisis communication
- Strong editorial judgment, storytelling ability, and excellent writing skills
- Ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging communication
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities
- High level of digital competence and experience working across multiple communication channels
- A collaborative, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- High level of integrity and ability to build trust at all levels of the organization
