We are currently looking for a Senior application Specialist (Power BI / Power Platform) for an assignment with our client.

Our client is a global leader in power and energy technologies, focusing on transmission, distribution, and industrial energy solutions. Headquartered in Västerås, Sweden, they serve utilities and industries worldwide, providing innovative and sustainable energy solutions.

About the Role:

You will act as an experienced BI specialist, applying strong IS application expertise to support global business needs. The role involves working independently to design, develop, and implement Business Intelligence solutions, while also advising stakeholders and driving improvements across existing BI services.

You will take ownership of an existing BI portfolio within HVDC, ensuring continuous improvement and delivering new solutions based on evolving business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver BI solutions across IS process domains (BUILD & RUN)

Translate business needs into effective analytics and reporting solutions

Design, develop, and implement BI solutions in collaboration with stakeholders

Analyze complex data and provide actionable insights

Drive improvements and deliver measurable business value

Share knowledge and support colleagues in implementation and operations

Required Skills:

Power BI (DAX, Power Query M) - extensive experience

Power Apps (Canvas, Model-driven, Dataverse)

SQL

SharePoint

Meritorious Skills:

Microsoft Fabric

Databricks

Oracle Database

Oracle Primavera P6

Requirements:

3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent senior IT background

Bachelor's or master's degree (or extensive equivalent experience)

Strong English communication skills (Swedish is a plus)

Ability to work onsite in Västerås 1 day per week
