The Global Affairs & Safety Oversight team within Einride Autonomous Technologies (ERA) sits at the intersection of internal safety and security governance and external regulatory engagement. The team has helped establish Einride's safety and cybersecurity governance frameworks, building the structures that underpin national regulatory approvals and ensure our autonomous systems can be deployed safely and securely. Working across all functions, the team defines requirements and develops the methodologies, processes and culture that form the basis of Einride's safety and cybersecurity cases.
As Cybersecurity Program Manager, you will report to the Autonomous Leadership Team and work cross-functionally to harden Einride's cybersecurity posture across the entire autonomous lifecycle. You will operationalize our cybersecurity management system in line with global standards, support continuous conformance with global regulations, and act as the internal authority on cybersecurity maturity and launch readiness. Your work will be essential to ensuring that every autonomous deployment is supported by a resilient, validated, and audit-ready cybersecurity framework-enabling Einride's market expansion and scale to proceed with airtight safeguards for vehicle, data, and system security.
Key Tasks:
- Scoping and Implementation of Cyber Security Management System (CSMS) for ERA
- In line with requirements from EU, national and UNECE regulations
- Guided by ISO21434 and other relevant best practices
- Integrated with AV Safety Case (UL 4600) - with the support of other colleagues in Safety and Systems Engineering
- Preparing documentation and evidence for audits
- Working with external consultants and auditors to develop key deliverables.
- Product security: Technical leadership
- Define the end-to-end safety and cybersecurity architecture across ADS stack, autonomy platform, cloud infrastructure, and connected cloud systems
- Lead the architecture and governance of zero-trust cloud security, cryptographic model deployment, and intrusion detection tooling, leading and providing guidance to development/engineering teams to implement
- Set other security requirements, track progress and ensure their delivery through verification phase
- Execute product security analysis activities, such as Penetration Testing, architecture analysis, TARA, toolchain qualification, supplier requirements etc.
- Security monitoring & reporting
- Architect, scope, and assist in implementation of security monitoring for product, development environment, cloud infrastructure, with support of enterprise security team
- Establish fleet-scale security monitoring & anomaly detection, and necessary support infrastructure for failure replication and event tracing
- Create dashboards across key programs
- Identify key metrics and track progress
- Report up to head of department for use in broader ERA KPIs
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Brings proven leadership in cybersecurity across AI-driven, autonomous, or complex embedded systems
- Has deep automotive cybersecurity experience, with a particular focus on connected or automated vehicle cybersecurity
- Has experience in adversarial threat defense, cryptographic infrastructure, OTA security, and cloud-vehicle trust architecture
- Is proficient with ISO21434
- Is experienced with Cyber Security Management Systems
- Is familiar with key global security requirements in Type Approval & Homologation regulations, such as UNECE R155 & 156, and US FMVSS
- Is familiar with automotive safety requirements, such as ISO26262
This is a full-time position based in US (remote with travel to Austin), Stockholm or Gothenburg.
