Join a dynamic Nordic logistics team with a global footprint in Pharma
Now is your opportunity to become part of a great, fast-moving Nordic logistics team based in Copenhagen.
We are looking for a supply chain professional with SAP experience who can support a SAP S/4HANA transition project while helping ensure continuity across selected logistics processes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of Supply Chain, Logistics and IT.
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of one of our global clients for a key role in supporting the logistics team in the Nordic region across downstream supply chain operations - including Logistics, Order-to-Invoice, Process Optimization, Narcotics, Safety Stock Management, and Compliance.
You will operate within GDP (Good Distribution Practice) standards and be part of a collaborative and international environment.
Key Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this 9-month assignment is to provide dedicated Supply Chain and SAP support to a major transition project. While the existing Logistics Coordinator and country logistics leads remain focused on daily operations, you will take ownership of key project activities including testing, process validation, data quality reviews, issue resolution and stakeholder coordination.
You will act as the bridge between Supply Chain, Logistics, and IT while also supporting selected operational logistics activities as required.
The logistics team already focuses on 3PL Logistics Management, including but not limited to:
• Managing day-to-day logistics operations
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external standards and supporting audits
• Overseeing supplier and 3PL relationships
• Developing and maintaining SLAs
• Monitoring KPIs, performance, and cost control
• Maintaining best business practices and driving process improvements
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Stock and sales reconciliation with local 3PL/4PL partners
• Monthly closure, reporting, and data analysis
This position is considered GxP.
Your Profile
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, or a related field
• 3-5 years' experience within Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, or Distribution
• 2-5 years of hands-on SAP experience in a business-facing role
• Comfortable working with both operational teams and IT/project teams
• Preferably experience from Pharma, MedTech, FMCG, or another regulated industry
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong English language skills (one or more Nordic languages is an advantage)
Supply Chain & Logistics Experience
• Experience with 3PL management and logistics operations
• Experience with KPI and SLA management
• Knowledge of GDP compliance and regulated industries
• Understanding of downstream supply chain processes
• Knowledge of import/export operations
• Understanding of downstream processes and local trade environments within Pharma
• Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
SAP & Systems Competencies
Must Have
• Strong SAP user experience within MM, SD, WM/EWM or similar modules
• Experience supporting SAP projects, system implementations or system changes
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Process mapping and process documentation
• Master data validation and data quality reviews
• Incident investigation and issue resolution
• Ability to translate business requirements into system requirements
• Stakeholder management across Supply Chain, Logistics and IT
Nice to Have
• SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation experience
• Experience of working with system integrators or external consultants
• Experience supporting data migration and cutover activities
• Power BI, Power Query or similar analytical tools
Personal Profile
• Structured and detail-oriented
• Comfortable challenging and improving processes
• Proactive and self-driven
• Able to translate business needs into IT requirements
• Strong communicator across functions
• Thrives in project environments with changing priorities
