R&D Senior Engineer / Global product support - Filters

The opportunity

Based in Ludvika, Sweden, you will be part of a global organization where expertise, innovation, and collaboration come together to drive the energy transition. You will work closely with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders from around the world in a truly international and inclusive environment.

This role is within Capacitors & Filters with main focus on the system rather than on individual components. Potential gaps in knowledge will be developed in cooperation with technical experts as a part of the job. As a central part of the team, you will connect different functions, coordinate activities, and ensure that projects move forward efficiently and successfully.

How you'll make an impact

Lead GPS projects and/or work packages.

Support the manufacturing units, customers, quality, etc. with technical topics and experience.

Guide the team in the engineering process.

Root cause analysis of internal and customer reported quality issues.

Support with design and/or evaluation of filter systems.

Electrical and mechanical simulations.

Your background

Experience in Electrical Engineering and Project management

Circuit theory with passive components.

University degree, preferable in combined with work-life experience

It is an advantage if you have understanding & experience of High Voltage Filter applications and system as well as the components that are included in the system.

Experience in simulation tools like PSCAD or similar

Experience with CREO or other 3D CAD software
