ABOUT THE COMPANY
Tiger of Sweden is a Stockholm-based fashion house established in 1903 with a heritage in tailoring. For more than a century Tiger of Sweden has stood for style with purpose, dressing men and women for whom true style is about the confidence to be themselves.
The Product Development & Fabric Assistant supports the creation of Tiger of Sweden products from development through to bulk, working closely with the Product Development and Raw Material team to bring the creative vision to life in a commercially and sustainably responsible way.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
Sample & Quality Support
• Conduct garment wash tests and in-house quality control tests.
• Maintain and organise the sample archive.
• Coordinate and manage DHL shipments.
PLM & Administration
• Maintain PLM updates.
• Inputting and maintaining all data in systems and charts, ensuring 100% accuracy.
Fabric
• Tracking and organizing both incoming trials, lab dips, and approvals and outgoing developments and standards.
• Assisting with checking of sample and bulk fabrics and communicating comments to external partners.
• Organizing and maintaining the fabric library.
About you:
As a highly organized and collaborative team player, you will help ensure product and raw material processes run smoothly, with accurate information, strong attention to detail and a clear focus on timelines and business needs. You are passionate about product and have a good understanding of the end-to-end product development process, with knowledge of fabrics, trims, costing or production being an advantage.
You have at least 1 year of experience working with textiles and/or fashion.
You thrive in a dynamic working environment and handle competing priorities.
You are a team player who values good relationships and communicate honestly, directly, and clearly with employees, managers, and colleagues.
You are an accustomed user of Microsoft Office and adapt to new systems easily.
You are fluent in English.
