Beskrivning
We are looking for a Procurement Business Partner to join our Procurement Business Partnering team, supporting the Hydro generation business.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of operations and planning - working closely with business and project stakeholders to ensure procurement is structured, prioritised, and delivers value end-to-end and across the full contract lifecycle.
About the role
In this role, you act as the front door for procurement towards the Hydro business, ensuring that business needs are translated into clear, structured procurement demand and executed according to agreed governance and ways of working.
You are accountable for the end-to-end procurement scope, from early demand identification and planning through sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance.
You will play a key role in turning business plans and projects into executable procurement actions, ensuring readiness, transparency, and alignment across stakeholders and procurement teams.
Main responsibilities:
Business interface & coordination
- Act as the primary procurement contact and front-door owner for the Hydro business
- Build strong relationships with asset and project stakeholders
- Ensure procurement is involved early and consistently in planning and project execution
Demand structuring & intake
- Translate business needs into structured intake packs and procurement pipelines
- Ensure scope, documentation, and timelines are clear and aligned with procurement standards
- Maintain visibility of the full demand pipeline across Hydro
Planning & execution readiness
- Plan and coordinate procurement activities and sourcing calendars
- Ensure procurement packages are complete, prioritised, and ready for sourcing
- Align business demand with category strategies and sourcing capacity
- Track readiness across cost, schedule, risks, and dependencies
End-to-end ownership & delivery
- Own the full procurement scope from demand → sourcing → contracting → execution → supplier performance
- Ensure seamless coordination across Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, and project teams
- Support and, when needed, lead procurement activities in selected projects
- Ensure procurement delivers value across cost, risk, performance, and supply continuity
Cross-functional alignment
- Coordinate with Category Managers, Sourcing Managers, PMO, S2P, and Supplier Risk
- Support alignment on sourcing approaches, timelines, and execution
- Ensure agreed procurement ways of working are applied consistently
Performance tracking & governance
- Track procurement pipeline performance including readiness, cost development, risks, and benefits
- Work with PMO, Controlling, and Investment Analysis to validate assumptions and track outcomes
- Ensure compliance with procurement governance, policies, and supplier risk processes
Issue resolution & continuous improvement
- Act as first-line escalation point for procurement issues, claims, and complex cases
- Identify gaps in ways of working and drive improvements
- Support stakeholders in adopting structured and efficient procurement practices
About you
You enjoy working close to the business and taking ownership of complex, project-driven environments. You combine structured thinking, coordination capability, and hands-on execution.
Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in procurement, project management, or similar roles
- Experience in portfolio planning and complex project environments
- Strong stakeholder management, coordination, and prioritisation skills
- Experience in capital-intensive environments (energy, utilities, industrial projects preferred)
- Fluent in English and Swedish. Finnish language skills are considered an advantage
