Position Responsibilities

Are you a Maconomy expert who thrives on solving complex business challenges and building lasting customer relationships? Deltek is looking for a Principal Business Consultant to drive high-impact ERP engagements - from implementations and upgrades to cloud migrations- for some of the world's most ambitious professional services firms. We're talking about multi-entity structures, cross-border intercompany configurations, and organizations where the stakes and the intellectual challenge are genuinely different. Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive end-to-end consulting engagements across Maconomy implementations, upgrades, and cloud migration projects
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate solution design, documentation, and quality assurance - contributing to the team's AI-first delivery model.
• Experience delivering Maconomy engagements for large, multi-entity, or international professional services organizations - you understand what complexity at scale actually means in practice
• Lead workshops and design sessions with senior customer stakeholders, including Process Owners, Financial Controllers, CIOs, and Project Directors
• Translate complex business requirements into pragmatic, scalable, Maconomy solutions that deliver real business value
• Champion solution quality and best practices throughout the full delivery lifecycle
• Partner with project managers on scope clarification, effort estimation, risk identification, and change management discussions
• Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, building long-term relationships that drive satisfaction, adoption, and growth

Qualifications

Position is open for candidates in Copenhagen, Stockholm, or Oslo

Required Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience as a Maconomy Business Consultant with a track record of successful project engagements
• Deep functional expertise in one or more areas: Finance & Controlling, Project Costing & Billing, Time & Expense, or Multi-company/Intercompany setups.
• Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and inspire confidence among senior customer stakeholders
• Solid understanding of professional services business processes and a passion for guiding customers toward best practice
• Fluent communication skills in one of the Scandinavian languages and English - clear, confident, and compelling at every level
• Comfortable and effective in a hybrid, international delivery environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in additional Scandinavian languages -or Finnish is a strong advantage
• Experience supporting cloud migration projects within a SaaS ERP environment
• Experience contributing to pre-sales activities, solution scoping, or proposal development

Compensation Info

For this role, the expected annual base salary range is SEK 518,000.00-SEK 906,000.00, depending on skills, experience, and location. Final compensation will be determined in a manner consistent with applicable local laws and internal compensation practices. In addition, employees in this role are eligible to participate in one of the company's bonus programs, based on the guidelines or compensation plan for their specific role, job, or title.
