The Position
The People & Culture Specialist provides proactive, people centred guidance and support across the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Director P&C Operations, Northern Europe, this role delivers high quality operational advice, ensures consistent application of policies, and partners with senior leadership and people managers on day-to-day people matters across Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The role also partners with the wider P&C Ops community in the region and the Strategic P&C Business Partners aligned to the business units that operate in the Nordics. The Specialist plays a key role in supporting change management, improving the employee experience, resolving issues early, and enabling a high performing, values driven culture.
Key Accountabilities
Change Management
Support leaders in managing post-restructure impacts, including team stability, morale, and role clarity
Track and monitor change adoption, highlighting risks or areas of resistance
Help reinforce clarity around roles, responsibilities, and ways of working within the new structure
Ensure key messages are communicated consistently across teams and locations
Engagement & Listening
Analyse feedback from listening forums and surveys, supporting the development of practical actions
Identify potential engagement risks following organisational changes
Support initiatives to rebuild engagement and team effectiveness post-transition
Contribute to regular pulse checks to monitor employee sentiment
Organisation Effectiveness
Support the implementation of the new organisational structure at a team level
Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce inefficiencies
Help ensure alignment between team structures, capabilities, and business needs
Leader Capability & Support
Provide day-to-day support and guidance to managers navigating change and team challenges
Equip managers with tools and guidance to manage performance, absence, and wellbeing
Support leaders in setting clear team priorities and objectives
Wellbeing & Recovery
Support delivery of wellbeing initiatives aligned to post-restructure needs
Work with managers to identify and address workload and capacity concerns
Retention & Risk Management
Monitor indicators such as attrition, absence, and engagement, flagging emerging risks
Support retention activities to maintain team stability
Assist in identifying critical roles and supporting actions to reduce turnover risk
P&C Operations & Projects
Payroll input, review, approval and query management
Work closely with project teams to support implementation of IFS and CloudPay
Work with project team to support payroll and core administrative task centralisation
Participate in cross functional P&C Projects aimed at driving efficiency and improving employee experience across the lifecycle
Skills, Experience and Attributes
Essential
Experience in an HR/P&C advisory or coordinator-level role, with exposure to employee relations preferably across all Nordics countries.
Strong understanding of HR/P&C processes and employment legislation.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills across all levels.
Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality, empathy, and professionalism.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Confident using P&C systems and working with sensitive data.
Desirable
HR Degree (or working towards) or equivalent experience.
Experience supporting continuous improvement or change initiatives.
Experience in a fast paced, multisite or matrix organisation.
