Assignment Description
We are looking for a skilled Passive Safety CAE Engineer to contribute to the development and verification of advanced vehicle safety solutions.
ResponsibilitiesPerform CAE simulations and analyses related to pedestrian passive safety
Conduct and support CAE and physical verification activities
Perform interior head injury and free-motion headform analysis in accordance with FMVSS201U requirements
Develop, evaluate, and optimize safety performance using LS-DYNA simulations
Work with CAD models to prepare, review, and improve simulation setups
Analyze simulation and test data to support engineering decisions and design improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the development process
Required QualificationsDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or a related field
Knowledge of interior head injury assessment and free-motion headform analysis (FMVSS201U)
Minimum of 2 years of experience with LS-DYNA
Good CAD knowledge and ability to work with vehicle geometry/models
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred QualificationsExperience in pedestrian passive safety analysis and verification
