Nordic Marketing Manager

Do you want to lead the development of a stronger Nordic marketing organisation for one of the world's leading brands in climate and energy solutions?

Daikin continues to grow across the Nordic region, and we are now looking for a Nordic Marketing Manager to lead and develop our marketing organisation across Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

This is a newly established position created to strengthen Nordic collaboration, align priorities across markets and bring together regional expertise and local execution in one high-performing virtual marketing organisation, ensuring that our marketing strategy is translated into sharp and consistent execution.

Reporting to the General Manager Shared Services, you will lead a team of regional specialists and Country Marketing Leads ensuring impactful marketing activities that support commercial growth, brand strength and customer engagement across the region. 

The position can be based in Copenhagen, Stockholm or Oslo.

About the role

As Nordic Marketing Manager, you will bring together regional expertise and local market execution across the organisation. Through strong leadership, stakeholder management and operational coordination, you will ensure that marketing priorities, resources and activities are aligned to support business growth throughout the Nordic region.

More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

Nordic marketing strategy and planning

You will define and drive the Nordic marketing plan, ensuring alignment with our overall business and marketing priorities across brand, product, digital and commercial initiatives.

Leadership and organisational development

You will lead and develop a team consisting of two Nordic specialists and four Country Marketing Leads. A key part of the role is to strengthen collaboration, build capabilities and create a unified way of working across the organisation.

Commercial performance and marketing effectiveness

You will own the Nordic marketing budget and ensure resources are allocated to the activities that create the greatest impact. Working closely with commercial and product teams, you will drive performance reporting, marketing ROI and continuous improvement.

Brand leadership and market consistency

You will ensure a consistent brand experience across markets while balancing local opportunities with common brand standards, campaigns and communication principles.

Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration

You will work closely with Country Managers, Sales, Product Management and other key stakeholders to ensure marketing priorities remain aligned with business objectives and growth opportunities.

Who are you?
You are an experienced marketing leader who thrives in an environment where success is created through collaboration, clear priorities and strong execution. You are comfortable working across markets, functions and stakeholders, bringing people together around common objectives and ensuring that plans are translated into results.

You have experience leading marketing teams, ideally in a multi-country or regional setup, and are used to operating in matrix organisations where alignment and stakeholder management are key to success. You combine strong commercial understanding with a data-driven mindset and know how to balance brand building with activities that support business growth.

You are equally comfortable discussing long-term priorities with senior stakeholders and supporting your team in the day-to-day execution needed to move initiatives forward.

You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken. A Nordic language is considered a significant advantage. A relevant degree within marketing, business, communications or a related field is expected.
