Are you a specialist in medical oncology looking for a role that combines professional development, multidisciplinary collaboration, and access to modern cancer treatments?

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established oncology department in Sweden that provides comprehensive cancer care across a broad spectrum of diagnoses. You will join an experienced and supportive team where collaboration, clinical excellence and continuous development are highly valued.

About the role

As a specialist in oncology, you will be involved in:

Outpatient consultations and follow-up of oncology patients.

Systemic cancer treatments and individualized treatment planning.

Participation in multidisciplinary tumour conferences (MDTs).

Inpatient care as part of a rotating ward responsibility.

Collaboration with radiation oncology, palliative care and other specialties.

Supervision and mentoring of resident doctors.

Contributing to the continued development of clinical pathways and oncology services.

Depending on your experience and professional interests, there are opportunities to further develop specific areas of expertise within the department.

Requirements

EU-recognised specialist certification in Medical Oncology.

Solid clinical experience as a specialist in oncology.

Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team.

Interest in teaching, supervision and professional development.

Strong communication skills in English.

Motivation to learn Swedish through our language programme.
