Husqvarna Group is developing an enterprise design system to unify its brands, products, and digital platforms worldwide, supporting a diverse range of digital services for both consumers and professionals.
With AI rapidly transforming digital product design and development, there is significant opportunity to leverage AI not only in products, but also in the design system's development, maintenance, and governance.
This thesis investigates how AI can assist teams in building and running Husqvarna's design system, and how the system can be structured to support efficient AI-driven workflows.
Thesis assignment
The goal of this thesis is to investigate how AI can support the development, governance, and maintenance of Husqvarna's enterprise design system. The work should explore both technical and organizational aspects and provide concepts and recommendations for how the design system can be designed to support AI-assisted operations over time. The thesis will be conducted in close collaboration with Husqvarna's Design System team and cross-functional digital teams.

- Recommendations for future architecture, tooling, and governance
